how to make Eggplant/Brinjal Yogurt Bengali recipe

  Eggplant/Brinjal with yogurt Bengali recipe very simple and popular Bengali Recipe. It is very famous recipes.

Ingredients

1)  yogurt                                  200 gms

2)  Brinjal or Eggplant  1 large

3)  Fresh coriander leaves

4)  cumin seeds                       1/2 tsp

5)  Green chili                          3

6)  Ginger paste                       1 tsp

7)  Turmeric powder                1tsp

8)  Red chili powder                 1/2 tsp

9)  Salt

10)  Sugar

               1 tsp
11)  Mustard oil


Method::

1)  Marinate the eggplant with salt and turmeric for five minutes.

2)  Heat the pan with oil and add Eggplant one by one. Fry those Eggplants until it become soft and turn brownish yellow.

3)   Now take bowl and remove from heat.

4)  Add onion paste and stir it well. Fry until get a brownish color.

5)  Add Turmeric powder, Chili powder and Ginger garlic paste. Mix it properly and fry them well.
Add some spicy before we prepared.

6)  Add yogurt and mix it well. Now add salt as per your taste. Keep it for few minutes for fry. Be sure, cook for about 3 minutes in low flame.

7)

Add little water.Heat it till it comes to a boil and add the fried eggplants.Lower the heat.
Now cover & cook for about 5 minutest .
