This Bengali dish Patishapta . Patishapta is one of the most popular Bengali sweets .Patishapta Pitha is a very common and favorite pitha preperation of Bengalis.
Ingredients:
1 cup refined flour
1/4 cup rice flour
2-4 tsp sugar
3 cups grated coconut
1/2 to 2 cups milk
Oil, to cook this.
3-4 green cardamoms
Method
1. Take refined flour in any big bowl. Add rice flour, 1 tbsp sugar and milk into it and make a smooth batter. Keep the batter aside for 20 minutes.
2. Heat the non stick pan.mix grated coconut with sugar and place it over low flame. If making with khoya, add little milk.
3. Add cardamom in it.
4. Keep stirring the mixture till it gets sticky. Keep aside to cool.
5. Heat a frying pan ( non-stick) and pour in 1 tablespoon on oil, spread it with a kitchen paper.
6. Take a small bowl of batter and spread it evenly on the pan to make a round shape, do it quick before the batter sets
7. Place the filling lengthwise at the center of it and roll it.
8. Fold the crepe from both sides and wait till it turns light brown
